An ongoing building boom is bringing new rooftops by the thousands and millions
of square feet of new retail and commercial projects to Kyle.
Now, work is underway on another large mixed-use project that will add even more
homes, apartments and other development, along with parks and trails, to the fast-
growing city in Hays County.
Austin-based Rastegar Property Co., a real estate investment and development
firm, has obtained a $31.7 million loan to develop the first phase of lots for Infinity
Square, a 318-acre master-planned community project slated for 700 and 800
Bunton Lane, next to the Bunton Creek Reserve subdivision. The Infinity Square
site is east of Interstate 35 and about 20 miles south of Austin.
Trez Capital, an investment manager that provides financing for commercial real
estate projects throughout North America, provided the loan, which will pay for
Infinity Square's initial phase of 329 single-family lots.

Rastegar has sold the first phase of lots to national homebuilders CastleRock
Communities and Brightland Homes, which will spearhead construction of the
homes.
“In a challenging landscape, we are excited to have closed this funding deal, which
will provide a major capital injection allowing us to activate our ambitious plans to
construct the first phase of Infinity Square,” Rastegar's CEO Ari Rastegar said in a
statement.
The project is expected to be built over the next five to seven years, bringing much-
needed housing to the area, Rastegar and local officials said.
